ICC is responsible for managing matters related to research, innovation, intellectual property (IP), and the commercialisation of university products. Key functions of ICC include precommercialisation, incubator management, collaborative networks, and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture that respects intellectual property rights.

ICC manages registration for four main IP categories: Patent, Copyright, Trademark, and Industrial Design.
