Research & Innovation encourages commercially oriented consulting, applied research and technology development activities across a broad variety of disciplines within the University.
Commercialization is the process that converts ideas, research, or prototypes into viable products that retain the desired functionality, while designed them to be readily manufacturable at low cost and launched quickly with high quality designed in.
The main channels of technology transfer has been direct foreign investment (DFI), joint ventures and strategic alliances, patent filing and licencing, and trade in capital goods. At UTHM< currently the technology transfer is being very much within the scope of collaborative "joint-ventures" and patent filing with a view towards licencing.
Keep update with all our activities.
